Achbor [Ăch'bôr] - a mouse. Father of Baal-hanan and king of Edom (Gen. 36:38, 39; 1 Chron. 1:49). Son of Michaiah and one of Josiah's messengers (2 Kings 22:12, 14). Called Abdon in 2 Chronicles 34:20. A Jew, whose son Elnathan was sent by Jehoiakim to bring back Urijah the prophet from Egypt ( Jer. 26:22; 36:12).
